I can’t say enough good things about the current story arc in IDW’s ongoing Star Trek. I’ve always been a giant geek for alternative universes and grew my goatee at a very early age so I could look like Mr. Spock in the Mirror universe. But a whole gender switch universe with Kirk as a girl and Uhura as a man? And they get to meet the regular universe at the end of ish #29? SO FUCKING COOL!!! My only gripe is that it is only a two issue arc. Maybe they’ll do a miniseries at some point in the future?
IDW has done a fantastic job with these characters and have made this long time Trekker very, very happy. Add this book to your pull list immediately.
