My pick this week is Daredevil #36-the final issue in the wonderful Waid-Samnee run of Matt Murdock’s ever tortuous and eventful life. It’s actually the final issue of the series which will reboot with #1 next month with the same creative team. Ol’ Hornhead will be heading west to San Francisco for a new life after the fallout from this issue.
And, my oh my, what a lot of fallout. I won’t spoil too much but this ish is chock full o so much action and drama that my head was spinning. The physical and mental battle with the Serpents finally comes to a head with both good things and bad things happening. I’d rummage through the back issue boxes and plunk down $$ for the entire 36 issue run if I were you. DD hasn’t been this good since Miller’s run!
