Many folks in fandom have written off Robert Kirkman’s Invincible as being too predictable and wash-rinse-repeat-y. But I think the last few issues have been great and #129, on sale this week, is no exception. There’s something really cool about Mark living on a different planet and having most of the action rooted more in science fiction and not traditional superhero settings. I’ve always been a hard sci-fi guy so I welcome this theme and style.
This latest issue has all the feel of foreboding, more so than previous issues have. Something really awful is going to happen. You can just feel it. Pick up this ish and see if you agree!!
