I’ve been enjoying the current Star Trek anthology series from IDW. It’s been fun to go back and see all the different iterations of the franchise in brief adventures with up and coming new artists.
This issue was of particular interest to me as it featured a Deep Space Nine story. DS9 has always been the weird cousin of the Star Trek universe. No one seems to talk about it much and very few books have been releases since the series ended nearly 20 years ago. So, it was nice to see this little adventure to kick off the comic.The second story takes place in the TOS timeline and features a cautionary tale regarding the prime directive.
My hope is that they continue this series as it is currently set to only be 6 issues. Us die hard Trekkers would appreciate it!
