I’ve been waiting over 30 years for this comic and it’s finally here. A straight up sequel to the Watchmen. Even better, it’s the first step towards incorporating the characters from the Watchmen universe into the DC universe.

The first issue sets the tone perfectly as we return to the darkness of the Watchmen universe. Dr. Manhattan has vanished. Vedit is on the run. The Owl and Silk Spectre have retired. And Rorshach is back? WTF?
I won’t give away too much more except to say that I’ve looked forward to this book since it was announced. I can’t wait to see how Johns is going to fold all of this into a much happier and brighter DCU.
