Tom King is a genius. Hands down, the best writer in comics today next to Jeff Lemire. This week’s ish of Batman (#55) is an excellent illustration of his talents. He does a great job of summing up the dynamic between the original dynamic duo. He sucks you in right away with an enormous amount of pathos. The dialogue is amazing.
And then…
The ending.
Wow.
I still don’t know if it’s real or not.
