It seems like forever since the last issue of Doomsday Clock came out. Thankfully, issue number nine is well worth the wait. Dr. Manhattan is officially out in the open and takes on most of the heroes in the DC Universe. With Batman sidelined and shouting orders that no one is hearing, Dr. Manhattan is confronted and the battle is pitched. What will happen when the DC heroes confront a true god?
The answer to this question offers us a pathway to where the series will head. I recommend reading all previous eight issues before reading this one. It will help the story flow much easier.
