My favorite book so far this week was Justice League of America #2. I liked the first issue but had some reservations. No longer. This book fucking rocks! My main reason for digging it so much is the artwork of David Finch. With a nod to Gene Colan, Finch’s pencils bring out a certain grittiness that I think is required for this book. This is not the goody two shoes Justice League. This is a squad of hard core heroes who are more unsavory than savory.
The backup feature which showcases the Martian Manhunter is also totally mega. I wonder what J’onn would be like on President Obama’s security team?
